“What a gem!! As soon as I saw the menu I knew it was going to bring me back to my travels. My husband and I opened a bar in 2001 where we sold appetizers, and sold it in 2011 — we were known for our sangria and mojitos, our baked Brie and other unusual (for a bar) fare. My first sip of sangria transported me right back to Spain. Loved the duck fat fries, my friend had the bacon potato soup, and I had a savoury BLT crepe. They even have a weekly crème brûlée — pinch me! You can tell the owners are well-travelled by the diversity of the menu; they are passionate about their restaurant and it really shows. “First time visiting today for their pork/roast beef special and honestly I was amazed at how incredible everything tasted — very high quality! Enjoyed meeting owners Natalie and Miro who are lovely people; Miro is the chef and came out to introduce himself and chat, which was super nice. The cafe is spotless, warm and cozy, and I’m very happy it’s close to where I live. Will absolutely be back — thank you for this gem in Tecumseh!!”
